John Gehrig wines in the King Valley

Ross Gehrig, winemaker at John Gehrig Wines tells me his 2006 Gamay is a cracker. The judges at the Melbourne Show last week thought so too, it scored top points in the Light Red Class.


Ross is off to Beaujolais where he hopes the 2007 vintage is better than the horror year that many King Valley vineyards have had.
