Annoying but within the rules
by: darby

The Rules say

3....ONLY wines that are finished, bottled and commercially available at the time of entry will be eligible for medals and trophies. Please, then, ensure that finished, bottled, commercially available wines are entered WITH their commercial labels and capsules on....

4. 'Commercially available' is understood to mean the wine is bottled by - and available for purchase through retail outlets, cellar door sales or mail order at - the time of entry.

So it's at the time of entry, in this case 19 September, I presume they sold out since then. They are small and it's good wine.

Disappointing for consumers, but making wine is a commercial business. The makers have to make a living.

Curiously, this wine - which was awarded 3 trophies is "sold out"!!!! I thought the wines had to be commercially available to qualify for entry?
