Chrismont La Zona Arneis

Arneis is a lovely white wine variety from the Piedmont region of NW Italy. It is quite popular in the cool to mild regions of Australia and usually scores well at AAVWS.

In 2017 a total of 12 medals were won by the 15 entries in the Arneis class. This is a very impressive strike rate reflecting the suitability of the variety in several regions and the fact that winemakers now have enough experience to make excellent wine from it.

3 gold medals were awarded:

  • Stefano's Docket Label 2017

  • Pankhurst Wines 2017

  • Chrismont La Zona 2015)

In addition there were 5 silver and 3 bronze medals awarded.
