The Wine Century Club was founded in New York in 2005 by Debbi and Steve de Long, makers of the famous Wine Grape Variety Table.

Membership of the Wine Century is open to all those who have tasted, and counted, over a hundred different grape varieties. You can see an article about the Wine Century Club here

The Melbourne Proposal

There are several hundred members throughout the world, a few of them are in Australia. It is time to start a club in Melbourne, at first it will include aspirants to full membership of the WCC as well as those who have achieved the ton.

Activities of the club may include hold in some joint tastings of unusual varieties, comparing notes about sources of unusual varieties and maybe some wine themed dinners.
