Can't find the correct spelling of a blended wine, The person that told me about it guessed a spelling 'meneacol'...said it means maniac...

Don't think I can help on this one. Sounds like a brand name rather than grape variety.
There is a Spanish wine brand called Demencia. it is made with the Mencia grape variety.

Does your wine have anything to do with Mendocino wine region.
