John Gehrig wines in the King Valley

Ross Gehrig, winemaker at John Gehrig Wines tells me his 2006 Gamay is a cracker. The judges at the Melbourne Show last week thought so too, it scored top points in the Light Red Class.

Ross is off to Beaujolais where he hopes the 2007 vintage is better than the horror year that many King Valley vineyards have had.

by: Anonymous

Essay Writing Service :The Valley of the Kings is known as a result of it's the positioning of the many burials of Egyptian Kings, Queens, and nobles. Several attention-grabbing tombs are excavated, most splendidly after all the place of Tutankhamen that was filled with 'wonderful things' as Howard Carter aforesaid once he found it.

Gamay is a great variety that is overlooked by many winelovers. It is an ideal wine for summer drinking. It may lack the complexity of Pinot noir but is has loads of flavour.
