Submit Your Course to the Wine Education Directory

This Wine Education Directory is compiled to help you find more students or participants for your classes or courses.

Basic entries in the Directory are free, but you have to do some of the work. Don't worry it will only take a few minutes of your time, and I have some prompts to help you fill in the details.

Your entry will become your separate page on the Vinodiversity website. (Like this one) This will give you a wide exposure to potential students.

As of early 2012 Vinodiversity is attracting up to 1000 visitors a day, many of them people who want to learn more about wine. Your page will also get exposure through Vinodiversity's social media channels.

How can this help you? You may already have your course listed in other directories, probably with little or no response. Vinodiversity's Wine Education Directory differs from all other directories in that every course is given a separate dedicated page on website with a Google Page Rank of 5, and an Alexa rank of about 400,000. Ask me if you want to know what these rankings mean.

Your course details will be found by prospective students searching Google and other search engines as well as by people browsing the lists on this site.

OK, let's get started.

The form below has 2 boxes - one for the Title of your course and one for the Description of the course.

I'd like you to enter the Title in the following format (it will help users find you more efficiently, I promise)

Place name Course name

Some examples

Melbourne, Australia Introduction to Wine Course

New York City, NY Learn about Spanish Wines

Bristol, UK Wines of South West France

In the Description field please use these tips.

The Description of your course should include all or nearly all the following
  • Full name of the course (Yes I know it's repeated but just do it!)
  • If you have several similar courses, please provide brief outline of each
  • Who is running the course, including institution name and full address include zip/postal codes, people search on these.
  • Name of presenters, tutors, guest presenters. You may wish to include a brief bio of key personnel.
  • Is the course accredited, eg by a university, tertiary institution or WSET
  • Dates and times, how many sessions? Is this a regular offering?
  • Venue of the course and perhaps a short note about availability of public transport or parking.
  • Cost of course and any extras or inclusions
  • Contact details of the course organiser for publication. Please include at least one of web address, email or telephone number
  • Please include a description of the course content, eg style of wines covered, table wines, sparkling, fortified, local, regional or imported wines etc
  • What is the format of the course, eg lecture, masterclass, course work, trips to wineries. Is the course part of a formal qualification?
  • Who are the target audience for your services - beginners, advanced, aspiring sommeliers, social groups, corporate team building etc.
  • Feel free to add a few comments about the quality of the course and the benefits you expect students/participants to gain.
  • Please Do Not just copy and paste large slabs of text from an existing website. Google penalises this form of duplicate content.
  • Ideally your submission should be 150-600 words.
