Shinas Estate - The Innocent Viognier

by Cher
(Australia)

Recently I had the pleasure of tasting this incredible viognier. A recent convert to this wine I have spent some time hunting out some different wineries contributions.

This is one is one of the best I have tried. The 2006 vintage. It has lovely peach and honey flavours.

Comes from the Mildura region of Victoria, Australia. I tried the wine in New Zealand and have learnt it is readily available through out the United States and Melbourne and recently was introduced to New Zealand.

It makes a pleasurable change for those wanting to try something other than the great NZ Sav Blanc.
