A Directory of Wine Grape Varieties in Australia

A rare white variety from South West France. In Australia it was formerly used to make dry whites and base wine for sparkling wine. It is now much less common, Seppelts at Great Western apparently still grow it. Langmeil winery in the Barossa Valley make a sparkling Ondenc Cuvee.

Orange Muscat

This may or may not be a member of the Muscat family of grape varieties. In any case it is a minor variety that is grown in California and Australia. All Saints, St Leaonards and Brown Brothers in NE Victoria make pleasant dry white wines from this variety. Amulet Vineyard in Beechworth also use the variety.
