Absolutely Beautiful
by: Kerry Harding

This was delightful surprise which my friend and I stumbled upon, beautiful paved gardens to enjoy, and many outdoor sitting areas to take in peace and tranquility.

We enjoyed a Latte and pizza, the service was above and beyond.

Thank you for a very peaceful and enjoyable lunch.

A return visit will be a must

Post Vintage Summary
by: James Hook

The heatwave of 2009 differed from 2008 as it seemed to not have the serious ?cooking? effect on fruit flavours that marred fruit from 2008.

In the winery the fruit looked very smart. This was a surprise as the vineyards looked very stressed yet the fruit was surprisingly delicate.

In general McLaren Vale Shiraz was picked at lower ripeness levels, and higher natural acid levels.

The results should be wine with balanced acid and fresher fruit flavours as the alcohol can tend to dull fruit.

Good news.
