John, a reader in a forum that I frequent asked this question:

I have been seriously considering "recreating myself" - sorry was listening to Dr. Phil ! - Suggestions for getting into Wine Distribution or Sales?

I have had a passion for wines for some years now. However, it has always just been to enjoy with friends or entertain clients as part of the business. Any suggestions for a "New Kid on the Block"? I have enjoyed sitting back and observing a lot of the members. What are your thoughts on how to get started in the business as a profession?

Yes we can.

If it is your passion you need to do some background on turning a passion into a business. There is lots to learn and many traps to avoid, but I did it! see How I Did It!
