Best Italian Wine
The most expensive is probably Barolo from Piedmont, made from the noble Nebbiolo grape. At the other end of the scale there are cheap wines like base level Asti Spumante, sweet and thin Lambrusco or Chianti in a raffia covered bottle. There are thousands in between But which is the best? Or more importantly what is the Italian wine wine you enjoyed most. Maybe it was a Nebbiolo red from the north or an earthy Primitivo or Aglianico from the south. Perhaps you've had a stunning Gavi made from the rare white grape cortese or else you might like to share your opinion about a Super Tuscan. Let's hear your opinion in the box below. Your story will be published on this site for others to see and comment on. Remember, Italian wine cries out for food, so perhaps you can also tell what food you had to accompany your wonderful Italian wine experience. Just a brief word or two about the food, and maybe a recipe if you really want to share the joy. Did you enjoy the wine in Italy, or at your local Ristorante? Your wine experience never takes palce in isolation, so you might be able to set the scene with a sentence or two. You can add a picture of the wine, the food, or even yourself - but it is not neccesary. All contributions will be monitored so it might take a day or two for your story to show up.
